Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope your day is full of candy hearts, swoony reads, and 100% less cold-slash-possible-flu than mine!
To celebrate, I made a little’s Valentine’s Day card inspired by Both Things Are True. Here’s a teeny, tiny preview of Vanessa and Sam:
Butterflies the size of bats swarm my stomach, and for the briefest of moments, I think I’m going to vomit. That’s all it takes for Sam’s voice to echo through my mind again, his words sliding into each other as he says, I love you so much I want to barf. The line was absurd when he said it five years ago, and what happened next was even more so, but I’ll never forget the tender way he looked at me, the way I could see forever in his eyes.
And the card 😂:
Also, here’s a reminder that Follow Me is a love story, too.
*evil laughter* I mean, it’s a love story from his perspective, definitely not a love story from Audrey’s. 😈
And because it’s Valentine’s Day and the day is about romance, let me show you the stack of romance books on my bedside table, awaiting my attention:
❤️ Comedic Timing by Upasna Barath
❤️ The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood
❤️ First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison
I started Comedic Timing last night and would love to spend the day finishing it, but, alas, there are words to write and coaching clients’ work to read and kids who are off school today and needing my attention.
Until next time! xo
